Within the 13th edition of the International Summer School Sarajevo we are organising a regional conference on the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda in South-East Europe to explore how NATO and national governments translate commitments into action? The conference is aimed at students and young professionals, as well as local media and state institution representatives.
The objective of the conference is to explore how NATO demonstrates its commitment to gender equality through the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolutions (UNSCRs) on WPS and what role the national governments in South-East Europe play and in particular through implementation of the 1325 National Action Plans. This conference will allow participants to understand the role which NATO plays especially in regards of future memberships and partnerships around the world.
